So, I began this microcurrent body sculpting journey with a waist of 31 inches, hips at 42 inches and thighs of 26.5 inches each. I have now accomplished four of the five treatments and my results are -- waist, 29.5; hips, 41.5; thighs, 25 each.
I must say you kind of get used to the uncomfortableness of the whole shock treatment after a while. But let me tell you why, it's strictly about the competition, the sheer will of knowing you can endure the unpleasantness of it all.
The sculpting tech set me at a medium depth (the depth the current goes into the muscle) and a setting of 20. Now, I've started to make a game of it. I have to go up three "notches" every five minutes until I reach just a few notches higher than my last "score." On my third go round I was up to 43, the last time (my fourth treatment) I was at 45!
It's not the most fun thing to do. I mean who really wants to be half naked on a table with electricity, sponges and water on her ass for 45 minutes while your sculpting tech keeps amping up the juice? But there are worse things we do in the persuit of a perfect looking body. For example, I'd rather get microcurrent treatments than stop eating or counting every single little calorie.
Yeah, I'd rather spend 45 minutes twice a week in an uncomfortable situation than spend the rest of my life being paranoid about every single morsel of food I eat. What kind of life is that? I might as well not eat at all if I can't enjoy it!
One more treatment to go to make the five suggested microcurrent treatments. I am really beginning to enjoy my time with these treatments. And I have to admit, the commitment is merely to put up with 45 minutes of short contractions and the travel time needed. Unlike other treatments I underwent, with microcurrent therapy I don't have to abolish all caffeine, alcohol, wheat, fats, sugars, etc. In other words, this treatment makes me feel like I have a life and I don't just want to roll over and give up because I can't have any of my favorite things or else the treatments won't work.
The results so far are pretty good -- four inches!
